Helen Eberling graduated with an Accounting degree from Holy Family University and then went on to receive an MBA from the same University.

Helen has worked for the past 25 years in the accounting industry. Helen is a Certified QuickBooks online ProAdvisor. Helen has experience with Yellow book Audits, Tax accounting and Bookkeeping Services for a variety of companies of varies sizes. She has experience working with Several Companies on State of NJ Business/Sales Tax Audits.

John Hibbs has been a bookkeeper for over 25 years. He has vast knowledge of QuickBooks: Desktop, Enterprise, and Online. John provides client training for all QuickBooks versions. John has experience working with many business types including Not-for-Profit, Restaurants, Physicians, Retail, Service industries, and other various industries. He is also proficient in Sales Tax filings, Payroll tax deposits and filings, as well as personal and corporate tax preparation for multiple states.

John started out as a professional photographer before turning to the bookkeeping and accounting field. He and his wife have been involved with numerous animal rescue groups over the years and love fostering both cats and dogs.

Megan Gibson received an Associates of Science and certification in the medical field at Bucks County Community College. She continued her medical studies until she decided to go back to school to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting with the goal of earning her CPA license.

Megan has worked on occasion at the accounting firm since the age of 16, starting within the administrative department as a receptionist while slowly being introduced to bookkeeping. Currently, while being a full-time student at Purdue Global University, Megan works as an accounting clerk for J Gibson and Associates., while continuing to assist in the administrative department.

Kimberly Wolfram started as an administrative assistant in the accounting field in 2012. She gained various knowledge about taxes and accounting over the years. While continuing with clerical services, Kimberly received her Associates in Accounting to provide bookkeeping services for multiple clients.

Kimberly’s diverse experience during multiple tax seasons has been beneficial in her professional growth. The vast accounting and administrative experience she gained helped her oversee the day-to-day operations as the Office Manager.

Richard has worked for James Gibson since November 2021, having graduated from Drexel University in 2013 with a Masters of Science Degree in Accounting. Licensed CPA in PA and NJ since 2016 and having 25 years of accounting and tax experience, Richard’s primary focus has been working with small businesses in various industries including healthcare, law practice, restaurant, and rental property management. Richard is also experienced in providing tax preparation and planning services to help small businesses and individuals with ways to limit their tax liability.

Outside of the office, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife of 23 years, playing golf, and is a huge fan of Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers.

Zach completed his master’s degree in accounting at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2019 and earned his CPA license in the state of Pennsylvania in 2020. He has five years of experience working full-time as a CPA.

Recently, Zach has expanded into investment advising. He became a registered investment advisor with Cetera, LLC in 2024 and is working to gain experience in financial advising, with the goal of becoming a Certified Financial Planner.

Mary graduated from Temple University with a B.S in Accounting and in 1999 received her M.B.A. from La Salle University with a concentration in Accounting. She is certified in the State of Pennsylvania and am a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mary has over twenty five years of experience in accounting, auditing, and tax services. She has experience in a wide variety of industries including retail, construction, manufacturing, farming, health care, nonprofit, and other service providers.

John P. Mayer, CPA brings nearly thirty years of public-accounting experience to GibsonMayer with a focus on accounting, auditing, tax and consulting services. His experience is comprised of a variety of industries including software development and pharmaceutical research firms to manufacturing, real estate development, home improvement trades and professional service companies.

John is as comfortable working with management teams from large organizations as he is sitting down with local mom and pop family businesses. His goal is helping clients of all sizes meet the challenging needs of commerce today. Prior to entering public accounting John was a member of a large international food-processing company management team.

Mr. Mayer received his Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Accountancy from St. Peter’s College, Jersey City, NJ. He is currently licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in both the State of New Jersey and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

James J. Gibson, CPA/PFS provides expertise in the diverse and complex issues that our clients in the real estate, construction, manufacturing and service industries face. He has successfully presented many cases for a variety of clients before the Internal Revenue Service.

His experience includes accounting, tax and consulting services for individuals, partnerships and corporations. Additionally he is a Personal Financial Specialist providing estate and financial-planning services.

Mr. Gibson received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science. He developed his specialization in taxation with local certified public accounting firms and with Pannel Kerr Forster, a worldwide CPA firm. He is currently a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants
